Ross' first sporting success was winning the club championships aged eight at Belper Marlins swimming club. His first Great Britain selection was in 2003. Disappointed to not win any medals in Athens but he has had many other sporting successes.  Finest sporting moment was becoming Double Commonwealth Champion (2006).
