This naughty bloke loves a good barney and will take on any challenge going. But beware, Tyler has a very short fuse and cause a ruckus at the drop of a hat. He’s a newbie in the boxing ring, and is pleased as ‘punch’ to be following in his old man, Eddie’s, footsteps.

Tyler works for the family business and him and his dad are as close as father and son can be but of all of the Moon clan, it’s Anthony that Tyler dotes on the most. There's simply nothing in the world that he wouldn't do for his big brother.

Discipline has had only one major role to date, Tyler Moon. The character of Tyler was announced on 10 May 2011, along with Tyler's brother Anthony, and made his first appearance on 27 June 2011.

Discipline heard about the part in November 2010 from his agent, so decided to audition and returned two weeks later for a workshop. At the workshop, there were six actors shortlisted to play Tyler and six shortlisted to play Anthony. The actors were paired off, and Discipline was paired with Lapinskas. A month later, Discipline attended a screen test, and after a further screen test, he found out he had got the part

Kurtis Stacey, Emmerdale is staying hot!

Emmerdale newcomer Kurtis Stacey has hinted that fans will see a different side to his character Alex Moss if he ever begins a serious relationship.

Stacey joined the Yorkshire drama earlier this year as a new farmhand at the Butlers.

Since his arrival in the village Alex has developed a reputation as a womaniser by seducing both Hannah Barton and Victoria Sugden.

Speaking at the British Soap Awards, Stacey told Digital Spy: "I'm not sure if I can tell you who's next, but she's a bit of a naughty girl, I'll let you know that - she's a bit of a naughty one!

Alex Reid has reportedly found himself a new girlfriend following his split from Katie Price.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner allegedly met with Kat Gellin for drinks at the Three Crowns pub in Piccadilly before watching Drowning on Dry Land in London's West End on Thursday.

They then moved on to the Joe Allen American restaurant to enjoy a romantic meal together before kissing goodbye at midnight.

An onlooker told the News of the World: "There was a great deal of chemistry between them. They couldn't stop looking at each other and there was a lot of flirting going on."

Reid had been reported to be angry over Price's new relationship with model Leandro Penna.

Matt Smith, The 5th Doctor, sort of hot ?

Matthew Robert Smith (born 28 October 1982) is an English stage and television actor. An aspiring youth footballer, a back injury ended his time in the sport and he became an actor in 2003. His first performance was in Murder in the Cathedral as part of the National Youth Theatre. He also starred in Fresh Kills and alongside Christian Slater in the stage adaptation of Swimming with Sharks.

Smith's first television role came in 2006, as Jim Taylor in the BBC adaptations of Phillip Pullman's The Ruby in the Smoke and The Shadow in the North. His first major role in television came in 2007, as Danny in the BBC series Party Animals, and his first West End theatre role came in the same year in Swimming with Sharks, followed a year later by a critically acclaimed performance as Henry in That Face.

In January 2009, Smith was cast to play the eleventh incarnation of the Doctor in the famous British television series Doctor Who, first appearing in part two of The End of Time which aired on 1 January 2010. Smith is now the youngest person to play the Doctor, ahead of Peter Davison, who was 29 when he was cast in the role of the fifth Doctor.

Chris Fountain: 'Tommy isn't a bad boy'

Chris Fountain has insisted that his Coronation Street character Tommy Duckworth will not be a villain.

The former Hollyoaks actor was cast in the part late last year, following in the footsteps of Darryl Edwards and Joseph Aston, who portrayed the younger versions of the character.

As Tommy's father is bad boy Terry Duckworth, fans have speculated over whether the Weatherfield returnee could take after his dad.

However, in an interview with Soaplife, Fountain explained: "He is the son of Terry Duckworth but I don't think he's going to be as bad a character.

"He's more of a loveable rogue. He could be seen as quite smug and arrogant, but he's very charming. A real Jack the lad probably describes him best."

The star also confirmed reports that Tommy has an eye for the ladies, but added: "He doesn't make a good start. He tries it on with Sophie then with Sian. Later he sees them together and realises they're lesbians. But it's Tina who catches his eye."

Fountain makes his Coronation Street debut on March 28.

Dougie Poynter has checked out of rehab ahead of McFly's UK arena tour.

The 'That's The Truth' star entered rehab two weeks ago following a tough break-up with ex-girlfriend Frankie Sandford.

On his return home, Poynter took the opportunity to write to his fans via Twitter. He wrote: "Got home last night and read all your messages. Thanks for all your support, really means allot x (sic)"

He then joked: "Now can we get back to tweeting about boobs, d**ks and farts?"

He will now join his fellow McFly bandmates for their upcoming tour, which is due to start March 18 at Sheffield Arena.

The band recently revealed that they are to wear superhero costumes as part of their show.

The singer, who reunited with Take That eight months ago, is said to be in talks to sign a deal with the group's record company Universal.

A source said: "Robbie's been very committed to this Take That project and can't wait to tour with the guys, but he never said he wouldn't record his own music again.

"It's important for him to have his own solo deal because he is one of the most successful British recording artists.

"Robbie's been very impressed with the way Universal have sold and promoted Progress, the latest Take That album. He thinks they'd be great for his career."

Steve Jones: "I like being single"

Steve Jones has revealed that he enjoys the life of a bachelor and is not considering settling down in the near future.

The TV presenter, who is currently in talks to front the US version of The X Factor, told the News of the World that he enjoys the freedom of not being in a relationship.

"I like being single, I'm definitely not thinking about marriage and kids," he explained. "I want to keep having fun and enjoying life. What's wrong with that?"

Speaking of his X Factor chances, he added: "I don't know if I'll get it, but I'm a serious contender. I've known Simon Cowell for quite some time. He likes me, we connect."

Jeff Brazier eyes 'Xtra Factor' host job

Jeff Brazier has reportedly claimed that he would be "perfect" as the host of The Xtra Factor.

Konnie Huq fronted last year's series but has admitted that she is not certain of a return. Previous presenters of the X Factor spinoff have included Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton and Ben Shephard. Brazier has been used as a guest reporter on X Factor live finals and has also presented the X Factor live tour since 2005.

"Cowell first used me in the X Factor final and for me I would say that is the perfect job as I feel I am best used when I'm mixing with people and getting the best out of contestants," Brazier told Metro.

"I am kind of at the stage where I want to take on big responsibilities. It is getting close to the period when they start making decisions, I am guessing."

He added: "I am certainly making the most of my opportunity on Dancing On Ice and the rest is up to Simon Cowell to see who he thinks will be the best person for the job. "Like any person, you kind of go about picking up the skills so that one day it will put you in a position to be able to do certain types of jobs." Sky Sports News presenter Georgie Thompson has also been tipped for the role.

Prince Harry 'wanted for Top Gear'

Prince Harry is reportedly being lined up to appear on Top Gear.

The Sun reports that Jeremy Clarkson is keen to sign the 26-year-old up to take part in the 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car' feature in the next series. The paper claims that Harry is determined to beat a lap-time set by Tom Cruise in a Kia Cee'd hatchback.

"The prince is a massive Top Gear fan and is dying to give the Kia a spin," a source said. "He loves driving and ideally he'd like to beat Tom Cruise just for the boasting rights."

However, Harry apparently wants to use the appearance to promote the Armed Forces and could be seen demonstrating military equipment if given approval by the Ministry of Defence.

"He doesn't want it to be all about him. He wants to raise awareness of the Armed Forces," the source added.

More groups 'auditioning for X Factor'

Twice as many groups as last year have reportedly auditioned for the new series of The X Factor.

The Sun reports that out of 18,000 people at recent auditions in London, there were 1,000 groups, all hoping to follow JLS and One Direction by landing record deals after appearing on the show.

"One Direction have totally changed the ball game this year," a source told the paper. "Every other act is now a band and they have put so much effort into their appearances.

"We've been putting far more group acts through than in previous years."
However, the paper also claims that production staff are worried about the level of talent who have auditioned so far.

"The talent pool is drying up. Production is finding itself in the situation where literally everyone who should have done so has already tried out," the insider added.

Lee Ryan, Blue to Eurovision and back?

Lee Ryan (born 17 June 1983, Chatham, Kent, England) is an English singer-songwriter, actor and member of the British boy band Blue.

In April 2009, the group reunited and a Best of Blue Tour was announced. In March 2010, Ryan confirmed that he had signed a new record deal with Geffen Records, due to last until 2013. Later that month, it was announced that Ryan's first album on his new record label, Confessions, was due to be released in October 2010. The first single from the album, "Secret Love", was released as a double A-Side with "I Am Who I Am" on 4 July 2010. The single only managed to peak at #33 on the UK Singles Chart. Following this, it was announced that Geffen were set to drop Ryan from the label, before work on his album had been completed.

Ryan announced in January 2011 that there was no deal to release his album and that he was working on an album with Blue to be released later in the year. Blue will represent the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany with the song "I Can".

He also appears in the video for the latest single by a British girlband named Fe-Nix.

Henry William Dalgliesh Cavill (born 5 May 1983) is a British actor. He has appeared in the films The Count of Monte Cristo and Stardust, and played the role of Charles Brandon, 1st Duke of Suffolk, on the Showtime series The Tudors, from 2007 until 2010. He has been cast to play Superman in the 2012 film Superman: Man of Steel.

Cavill had been set to star as Superman in director McG’s 2004 film Superman: Flyby. However, McG pulled out of the project and direction was taken over by director Bryan Singer, who recast Brandon Routh as the lead. Cavill was also the cause of a write-in effort of fans to see him cast as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). The role eventually went to Robert Pattinson. Stephenie Meyer, author of the Twilight series, was outspokenly in favor of Cavill playing the character of Edward Cullen in the Twilight film, calling him her "perfect Edward". By the time production of the movie began, however, Cavill was too old to play the character, and again the role went to Robert Pattinson. In 2005, Cavill was a final contender for the role of James Bond in Casino Royale. The producers and director Martin Campbell were torn between him and Daniel Craig; reportedly Campbell supported Cavill but the producers preferred an older Bond. Ultimately Craig landed the role. Director Tarsem Singh cast Cavill in the lead role of Theseus in his mythological, big-budget special effects film Immortals, to be released November 11, 2011. In 2011 Cavill will star alongside Bruce Willis in The Cold Light of Day. On January 30, 2011, it was announced that Cavill had been cast in the role of Clark Kent/Superman in director Zack Snyder's Superman: Man of Steel. Christopher Fountain, from Hollyoaks to Coronation Street

Christopher Ryan Fountain (born 3 September 1987 in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England) is an English actor best known for his role as Justin Burton on the Channel 4 teen soap Hollyoaks, a role he played from 2003 until his departure in June 2009.

He played the role of PC Paul Tait in BBC Drama Five Days.

Dominic Power, from The Bill to Emmerdale

Dominic Power is an English actor, who is best known for his role as Leon Taylor in long running ITV police drama The Bill.

Power studied Drama and Performance studies at The Miskin Theatre, Dartford, from 1992-1995, leaving for Anna Scher's Drama School, Islington, where he trained from 1996 to 1999.

Power was given his first major television role in 2009, appearing as PC Leon Taylor in ITV police drama The Bill. He began appearing on screen from June 2009, alongside fellow new castings Clare Foster (PC Millie Brown) and Abhin Galeya (PC Arun Ghir). Leon was one of only three uniform officers to stay with the show until it's final episode, which was aired on August 31, 2010.

Power has recently landed a part in ITV soap opera Emmerdale. Power is set to play Cameron Murray, an ex-lover of Debbie Dingle, whom she met in Jersey. Cameron will appear on screen from March 2011.

Tom Hughes, from Trinity to Silk

Tom Hughes is an English actor, most known for his roles as Jonty Millington in Trinity (TV series), Chaz Jankel in Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, and Bruce Pearson in Cemetery Junction.

Tom graduated from RADA in 2008 with a BA in acting. In 2009 he featured in the spin-off BBC series Casualty 1909, and in ITV's Trinity. In 2010, he appeared in Ian Dury biopic Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll as bandmate Chaz Jankel. He then starred as rebellious Bruce Pearson in Cemetery Junction (film). Aside from his acting career, he appeared in the Burberry Spring/Summer 2010 campaign alongside actress Emma Watson. Tom also has a band the Quaintways, he plays guitar. In the July 2010 edition of Company Magazine, Tom was voted the 10th most eligible bachelor in Britain.

Tom also appears as pupil barrister Nick Slade in the 2010 BBC courtroom drama Silk.

James Sutton, leaving Emmerdale

The 28-year-old actor, who has played Ryan Lamb in the rural drama since 2009, explained he wanted to chase other jobs.

The soap star, who also played John Paul McQueen in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, admitted he was keen to tread the boards again and land some theatre roles. James said: "I've massively enjoyed the last two years playing Ryan and have been blessed to have worked with a group of such talented and supportive actors.

"I feel that Ryan's storylines have drawn to a natural conclusion and, although I'll be sad to say goodbye, I'm excited about what the future holds." He added: "Having trained in theatre I'm looking forward to getting back to my roots and exploring new opportunities."

Despite having only been in the show for a relatively short time, James' character Ryan has notched up an impressive number of hard-hitting storylines. The mechanic has had to deal with incest after sleeping with Maisie Wylde (Alice Coulthard), not knowing she was his half-sister, and even had a spell in jail after being falsely accused of his dad, Mark's, murder.

Emmerdale's executive producer Steve November said: "James has been a much valued member of the cast and we wish him all the best for the future."

Danny Dyer, Well known British Movie star

Danny Dyer (born 24 July 1977) is an English actor, media personality and chairman of Greenwich Borough, a non-League football team.

Dyer's first film role was in Human Traffic (1999). His subsequent movie work includes Mel Smith's High Heels and Low Lifes (2001) and starring roles in Borstal Boy (2000), Mean Machine (2002) and in all four films by the British film director Nick Love: Goodbye Charlie Bright (2001); The Football Factory (2004); The Business (2005); and Outlaw (2007). Among other film roles, he also appeared as the character Steve in Christopher Smith's Severance (2006); as Hayden in Adulthood (2008); and as himself in the feature documentary Tattoos: A Scarred History.

In 2008 he finished filming his roles as Pete and Tom in City Rats and 7 Lives, respectively. April 2009 saw the straight to DVD release of City Rats. Danny has just completed filming Jack Said, a Brit noir thriller in which he played Nathan alongside Ashlie Walker, Terry Stone, David O'Hara and Simon Phillips which was released in November 2009 by Optimum Releasing. This film is the prequel to Jack Says which was released in 2008 and starred the late Mike Reid. In 2009 he shot several horror films including Doghouse under the direction from Jake West, Basement under the Direction from Asham Kamboj.

He played one of the lead roles in the British vampire film Dead Cert. In June 2010 was cast for the lead role in the upcoming remake of the British horror film The Asphyx. Danny has just co-starred with Anna Walton in DEVIATION, a new British dark thriller written and directed by J.K. Amalou.

How have you settled in within the Hollyoaks environment so far?
It's a great atmosphere. I used to watch the show, so when I got here I was talking to people I used to watch on TV and it's crazy, they all treat you like they already know you and you've been friends for years!

How has it been working with the other Costellos? Have you formed a family?
Yeah, we've all got like a perfect family relationship together. The people who are playing my mum and dad are great - they've really helped me since I started. They've taken me under their wing and given me advice, so it's been a great experience.

How does Seth get on with Riley? Can we expect some sibling rivalry?
Yeah, definitely. It's really exciting, because all the stuff in Hollyoaks Later is about sibling rivalry and it's going really well, we've got some interesting stories coming up.

How have the shoots gone so far?
We started filming for Hollyoaks Later about two weeks ago. And we're filming on location, which is great fun and it doesn't even feel like we're filming for Hollyoaks, it's really different.

We have to work long hours and nearly every day, but I enjoy it. Even the crew are happy. It's just a great place to work and learn.

One of the stories The Costellos will be embroiled in involves Gender Identity Disorder. Have you had to do a lot of research about the disorder in advance, in order to portray things properly?
Yeah, in two respects: firstly in terms of learning your character and how to act it, and secondly in terms of learning about the disorder. It's something that's not really talked about, so it's quite interesting to find out more about it, as well as how it's going to pan out, how it affects the family, and how it does affect families. It's been a big learning curve for us and hopefully it will teach other people a bit more about the disorder too.

How does the character compare to yourself?
We're probably very similar. In the family, I'm meant to be the one that's not into football, and I'm not in real life, so that's been quite easy to do. Seth's quite vulnerable too and... well, I’m not. No, I am quite vulnerable too. He’s basically me, but just like a younger version of myself!

In 2007, Hewer was given the role of Maxxie, a gay character, in teen drama, Skins. In 2008, his character was written out of the show along with most other main characters.

Hewer appeared on the cover of the March and October 2007 issues of gay lifestyle magazine Attitude, where the magazine did a "Gays on TV" feature which included stars from Skins, Hollyoaks, Coronation Street and Shameless. He also appeared nude in the June 2008 issue of Cosmopolitan in aid of testicular cancer research.

Hewer has also taken part in many other modeling photoshoots including one photographed by Kai Z Feng. Hewer starred in the music drama, Britannia High, in the role of Danny Miller. Aaron Paul Renfree (born 19 December 1987) like Rhona, was not origninally selected to be a part of S Club Juniors but, like Hannah, joined two days later. He was the oldest member of S Club 8.

He starred in I Dream but did not appear in every episode due to studying for his GCSEs at the time of filming. After S Club 8 split in 2004, he joined dancing company TK Spin, who work at Pineapple Dance Studios in London. He left the company a year later.

He went on to Laine Theatre Arts where he trained for 3 years for a National Diploma in Musical Theatre Acting. In 2007, Renfree starred in Flashdance: The Musical, which ran for a year. As of 2009, he is part of the West End Production of We Will Rock You: The Musical he is currently a Swing.

Aaron was assistant choreographer and show director for the X Factor Live Tour 2009 and 2010 and also did some choreography for recording artist Little Boots.

One Direction

They faced disappointment after failing to make it on the X-Factor individually but then Simon Cowell threw them a lifeline. Simon admitted that they were too good to leave out of the competition and invited Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan to form a group.

One Direction was born and they immediately made a huge impact on the whole competition. They managed to get all the way to the final, final show of the 2010 series but unfortunately just missed out on winning as they came in 3rd place. Not bad for a band that had been put together less than 3 months before!

The future, however, for One Direction is bright as they have a huge following and with Simon Cowell's backing are sure to be one of the biggest boybands around.

McFly

Organisers hope for a "surge" in younger music fans at this year's Llangollen International Eisteddfod with a line-up which includes pop band McFly.

McFly's drummer Harry Judd had pictures DOCTORED to enhance his six-pack, other members of the boyband revealed. The half-naked 25-year-old graces the cover of this month's Attitude magazine, much to the amusement of his fellow bandmates.

Tom, Dougie and Danny couldn't contain their giggles when a fan produced a copy of the men's glossy at an intimate gig at Radio City in Liverpool during a tour of the station. Revealing Harry's secret, cheeky guitarist Danny, 24, told fans: "Little do you know, there's loads of post-production on that.

"They put his six-pack on afterwards!" Harry, who previously posed nude in a shower with the rest of the pop rock band, retorted: "Can you feel the jealousy in the room?"

Close pal Dougie, who jokingly claims to be "Harry Judd's girlfriend" on Twitter, sat open mouthed as he flicked through the pages in front of the giggling teen audience. The 23-year-old bassist screamed: "Oh my God, I haven't seen that one.

"You're doing that thing when you try to look all cute. "I'm actually going to get that blown up and put in my flat!" The boys performed an acoustic gig to a delighted audience at the top of the Radio City tower, hosted by mid-morning DJ Rick Vaughn.

Tommy Bastow (born 26 August 1991) is a British actor and musician from Epsom, Surrey. He is best known for playing the character Dave the Laugh in the 2008 film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging and as the lead singer in the band FranKo.

Bastow wanted to become an actor after watching films like A Clockwork Orange, Pulp Fiction and American Psycho with his dad and being inspired by the performances of the actors, "Watching those great performances sent tingles down my spine and I wanted to have that ability myself. I wanted other people to watch me and get that same feeling, I wanted to entertain." Bastow first got involved with acting at the age of thirteen.

He currently studies at the BRIT School, Croydon, where he studies theatre. Since 2005, Bastow has appeared in several BT adverts. In 2008, he appeared in two episodes of the CBBC program M.I.High and in a short film titled Londongrad. Bastow landed his first major film role playing the character of "Dave the Laugh" in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, released in July 2008. Dougie Poynter from McFly has revealed that he is teaching his girlfriend, Frankie Sandford of The Saturdays, how to play guitar.

Dougie said that Frankie is "really good" so far, although he was quick to dismiss the idea of a collaboration, saying it wouldn't sound good.

Living On The Edge original Stephen Beard made the transition from reality TV to soap earlier this year after landing a part on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks. Following a number of unsuccessful auditions, Stephen took the role of Zoe Carpenter's (Zoe Lister) brother Archie, whose fearless attitude and up-for-a-laugh nature is to bring some light relief to student life in Hollyoaks. Here, DS chats to Stephen about his time filming Living On The Edge, receiving 'the call' from his agent when he landed the part on Hollyoaks, and what we can expect from his character.

You're the only original Living On The Edge cast member left aren't you?
"Yeah, it's strange. I've had the cameras around for the last two years. I think the reason they put me into the second series was because I wasn't going to university like the rest of the cast and they knew I wanted to get into acting. They saw it as a great opportunity to follow me around to auditions and trying to secure parts. There originally wasn't that much filming about people following their dreams and aspirations - it was more about girls and boys and who fancied who."

Was it your decision not to go to university?
"I was always going to take a gap year anyway, with the original intention to go travelling. I did a bit of travelling in South East Asia in early summer. During my year, they asked me what I'd been doing. When I told them that I'd been trying to get into acting and I was finding it a bit of a nightmare due to my lack of experience, they suggested that I did the second series of Living On The Edge."

Was it Living On The Edge that gave you the taste for a career in television?
"I've always wanted to be an actor since I was 14 or 15. I played a lot of rugby when I was younger and then I went to boarding school. While I was there, a part came up for a play and I thought I'd give it a go. After the first night's performance, that's when I realised that I wanted to go into acting as a career."

Are you going to be in the next series, then?
"There hasn't been talk yet of a third series being produced. I think it's about February when they decide."

You come across as a bit of a player in Living On The Edge. Are you a big flirt in real life?
"What I always say to myself is that I'm 19 years old and I'm not going to settle down into a four-year relationship without experiencing life. Unfortunately, the way that it's been edited is to make me look like some kind of Lothario, which isn't the case. I've always said from the start that you don't know your favourite flavour of ice cream until you've tried them all. I'm not saying that I want to try all flavours of ice cream but hopefully I'll find a flavour that I'll settle for in the near future. Also, it's not just me going after all the girls, occasionally a girl might come after me. I hope I'd never treat a girl badly, or get rid of her in a mean way. I hope that all the girlfriends I've had in the past would say that I treated them well, with respect."

How did it feel when you received the call from your agent to say you'd got the part?
"It was so unexpected. I was filming for Living On The Edge at the time and I thought that it'd be arranged for my agent to call me while I was with my dad or some close friends. When I got the call, though, I had no idea that it'd have anything to do with the Hollyoaks casting. When she told me, I was completely shocked. It was complete excitement mixed with numbness. Inside, I was buzzing, but on the outside, I wasn't conveying that in the slightest - I was shell-shocked. I started to think at the time 'can I do this?' Actors always wanted to get a contract with a show, but when it actually happens, I think it's natural to question your ability."

How long are you with Hollyoaks for?
"I've just been offered my next six months. My first contract was six, too, so I'll be on screen until next September at least."

What can you tell us about your Hollyoaks character, Archie?
"He's definitely a wild one. People who have watched Living On The Edge may draw some comparisons. I go to a certain point in life, but Archie's definitely got bigger balls - he'll take things all the way. He's got no fear. At the same time, though, he has a sensitive side. He's like the big class clown but when he gets a knock, he really feels it. I think Archie's intended to bring a bit of light-hearted humour to the show."

Eddie Redmayne (born 6 January 1982) is an English actor.

Redmayne attended Eton College, and went on to study History of Art at Trinity College, Cambridge, from where he graduated with a 2:1 in 2003. He performed with the National Youth Music Theatre, and made his professional stage debut for Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in Twelfth Night at the Middle Temple Hall in 2002.

He won the award for Outstanding Newcomer at the 50th Evening Standard Theatre Awards (2004) for his performance in Edward Albee's The Goat, or Who is Sylvia?, and the award for Best Newcomer at the Critics' Circle Theatre Awards in 2005. So far, he has starred in three films based on the Tudor period.

In the following two years, these two videos were viewed nine million and five million times respectively.

Simpson is an official patron of disabled children's charity Out & About (http://www.out-and-about.org.uk), which supports disabled children in leisure activities in Norfolk and Suffolk(Charlie's home county). Simpson said,

“Growing up in Suffolk, I took part in all sorts of leisure activities and that should be how it is for all young people, whether they’re disabled or not. I’m looking forward to supporting Out & About and getting more involved.”

He is a product of the Middlesbrough youth system and first appeared for the club in 2004. He has since had a loan spell with Darlington, and now appears to be a more frequent fixture in the Middlesbrough first team.

He was sent out on loan to Ipswich Town in 2006, but was seriously injured in his second game, tearing his cruciate ligament and partially tearing his medial ligamentand was forced to end his loan spell.

After recovering from injury, in January 2008 Bates moved on loan to Norwich City for two months. He later returned to Middlesbrough after suffering from another knee injury which has resulted in him needing a third operation in just 18 months.

Christian Cooke

Christian, 22, plays Luke Rutherford, the last in the bloodline of the infamous Van Helsing family from Dracula, in the ITV show Demons, with the first episode broadcast on Saturday, January 3.

Former St Mary’s School, Menston pupil and Bingley Arts Centre regular Christian, who also appeared in Peter Pan at the Alhambra as a youngster, said: “I play Luke Rutherford. The mystery surrounding his father’s death is uncovered and he just has to accept his destiny and become a demon hunter.”

Christian was most recently on TV in the spoof-ish ITV soap Echo Beach, and began his acting career on the screen aged ten when he appeared in Yorkshire Sunday night feel-good drama Where The Heart Is.

But Demons looks set to propel Christian to the big time. Christian said: “The whole cast is really talented. Mackenzie was such a nice guy.”

Phil Glenister plays an American called Rupert Galvin who tracks down his godson Luke in contemporary London to tell him of his ancestry, which is all tied up in the Dracula myth.

Mackenzie Crook – complete with a crooked beak as the villainous vampire Gladiolus Thrip – leads a rabble of unsavoury characters.

After Echo Beach and parts in shows like Robin Hood and Doctor Who, Demons marks Christian’s first lead role. He said: “This has certainly been the most challenging for me because we worked 74 days straight without a break and 15 hours a day and I was in nearly every scene, so it’s really difficult. But that’s how I like it, if I could work like that on every job I would.”

A fresh spin on the classic Arthurian legend, Merlin tells the hitherto uncharted story of the wizard's younger days. The story begins with Merlin's arrival in the city of Camelot, where the tyrannical King Uther has imposed a ban on any use of magic. We speak to the young actor in the titular role, 22-year-old Colin Morgan (recently seen in Doctor Who's 'Midnight'), to find out what happens next.

Why does Merlin come to Camelot?
"His mother sends him there because he doesn't quite fit in with the people in his hometown. I guess his mother feels that going to Camelot will be a bit of a release for him, allow him to be himself and to get guidance from Gaius (Richard Wilson). But it becomes very evident to Merlin quite quickly that he can't be himself. There's a horrific incident that happens that makes it very clear that using magic in Camelot is death."

Is it hard for him to keep his powers under wraps, then?
"He has to learn to guise it. He won't tell anybody about his powers, but he is thrown into these situations where he has to look for ways in which he can help people without others knowing. He doesn't always do it in the right way. We know about the great magician Merlin became, but we don't know about the mistakes he made along the way."

On arrival in Camelot he becomes manservant to the King's son, a young Prince Arthur (Bradley James). How do they get along?
"They get off to a bit of a rough start! It takes a bit of work, but then they're thrown into a situation where they have to work together and learn how to be friends, I guess. As viewers, we know from the beginning that their destinies are intertwined, but very much within [this show] it's about how that happens."

Merlin is also described as quite "impulsive". How so?
"On many an occasion, he will leap into a situation where he will do something which may not be right, but it's his heart and his impulse. He means well! That desire to help people and to want to do the right thing is what often gets him in trouble. And it just so happens that he does it in a magical way."

How familiar are you with the legend?
"I think when we started [filming], I knew as much about the legend as anybody. The basic sword-and-stone story, stuff like that, and of course everyone has this image of Merlin being this old guy with a beard! I've since been reading up quite a lot on Arthurian legend and there's quite a big gap missing in Merlin's life, the time when he was growing up. Why wasn't that documented? This show explores one possibility."

You have a very strong northern Irish accent but Merlin doesn't. Whose decision was that?
"For a while in the early auditions, I was keeping my own accent but I think we wanted to avoid making any statements as to where Merlin was actually from. From what I've read, there's evidence to suggest he was Scottish or he was Welsh. Going for a neutral accent made Merlin quite neutral."

The hype is now starting to build around the show. How does that make you feel?
"You spend six months in this world of Merlin and suddenly it gets to this stage, where other things are starting to happen. I have never experienced anything like this before, but it's exciting and it'll be interesting to see how it all turns out. It's a very exciting time for everyone. I'm just very thankful that I've been given the opportunity to do it."

Craig Fallon (born in Wolverhampton on December 18th, 1982) is a British judoka.

In September 2005, Fallon won the 60kg weight class at the World Judo Championships in Cairo, beating Ludwig Paischer in the final. He became only the third British male to win a world title, following Neil Adams in 1981 and Graeme Randall in 1999.

In 2006 he went on to become European champion in Tampere, Finland in the -60kg weight category beating Armen Nazaryan in the final. He is only the second male British judoka besides Neil Adams to simultaneously hold both a World and European title.

On Saturday 22nd September 2007 Fallon went on to win The 2007 Men's World Cup in the -60kg at the NIA Arena in Birmingham, he was the only Brit to win a medal at the Olympic ranking event.

James Tanner

James Tanner (born 1976 in Kent) is a British chef and television personality. He currently appears on the BBC cookery programme Ready Steady Cook.

After studying hotel management he worked in the kitchens of several well-known restaurants, often with his older brother Chris. He worked his way up through the ranks until he was invited by the Roux brothers to move to the US and work in upstate New York, where he was Chef de Partie at the Lake Placid Lodge. Within four months he was promoted to junior sous chef.

He worked his way up the ranks and on returning to England took a job under Martin Blunos at the two Michelin-starred restaurant Lettonie in Bath before a head-chef role at Right on the Green in Kent. In 1999, aged 23, James and his brother Chris opened Tanners Restaurant in Plymouth.

James' television career began in 2002 when he and brother Chris made their first TV appearance on a competition called 'Chef Stars', a promotion run by UKTV Food and broadcast predominantly on their flagship show Good Food Live (more recently known as Great Food Live). The brothers didn't make it through to the final, but they made an impression. James became a semi-regular guest on Great Food Live which was shot at the same studios as Ready Steady Cook. He was recommended to audition for the show and duly became a regular. At the heart of his style during his TV appearances is the repetition of his catchphrase "Like so", used in order to make various culinary techniques seem easy, encouraging members of the public to give them a try, and also to assuage viewers' fears of unfamiliar ingredients, as well as "dig down deep". Matt Kennard

Prince Caspian, like the first Chronicles of Narnia, is visually stunning – from the locations where the movie was filmed, to the sets, to the costuming. The actors and actresses, musical scores, and Aslan's voice all contribute to the continuity. The four Pevensie children have been back in London a year in the story-line, and while the younger two children have matured, you get the sense you've just left them at the end of the last movie.

Andrew Adamson, the writer and director said in an interview, “This film is probably a little darker and grittier than the last one, partly because the children are older, making the story more adult in nature.” This also comes through in the movie dialogue where the dwarf Trumpkin warns Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy “You may find Narnia a more savage place than you remember.”

William Peter Moseley (born April 27, 1987) is an English actor. He is best known for starring as Peter Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia film series. Previously, he played a small role as Forrester in a 2002 television version of Goodbye, Mr. Chips.

Jonathan Ansell was born in Bognor Regis in 1982. At the age of eight, he joined The West Sussex Boys' Choir, conducted by Arthur Robson, and stayed until his voice broke when he lost the ability to sing treble at the age of 15. He toured with the choir to Florida, Germany, and France, and sang in the Royal Festival Hall. After puberty Ansell found out he had developed a high tenor voice instead.

He attended the Anglican Bishop Luffa School in Chichester. "Achieved his Grade 8 as a treble at 13, he received his Grade 8 as a tenor at 17. He published a solo album in 2001 with his savings.

Another hot british actor. Julian Morris (born 13 January 1983) is a British actor best known for his role in Cry Wolf.

Morris began acting at the Anna Scher Theatre in London. It was there, when he was thirteen, that a director on the hit British drama The Knock spotted him and asked him to play a boy pushed into the drug trade. Morris continued his intensive training under Anna Scher for the next eight years. In this period more opportunities arose and after appearing in several TV shows, films and commercials; he went on to spend three seasons with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

I have only noticed three guys that are quite nice, maybe even hot, I still haven't decided on that yet. So I am only going to give you a run down of them.

“Brae is Daniel Marrack’s son – he runs the diner and surf shop along with his dad. And his main through-line is trying to be with Jackie. “I’ve had a wicked time filming in Cornwall. Everyone was cool and had something to share and bring to the table in terms of who they were as a person. Ed’s a really close mate now - we agree on certain things and we’ve got the same sort of values.

And Jason is great to work with. I didn’t know what to expect but I can’t hear a bad word said about him - he is brilliant and he worked so hard. And Hannah – it’s only her first job, but she’s come on so much and the camera loves her. It really is a great bunch of people.

“A lot of spontaneous things happened with the cross over of the two shows. I’d be outside having a coffee and someone from Moving Wallpaper would say, “We’re doing a scene - could you be in the back of it?” I remember there was one where Jonathan Pope comes out of the production office and, as he finishes a phone call on his way into the studio, he comes up to me, shakes my hand and says “Loving your work”. And it’s completely improvised just because I was there. But it’s great to do stuff like that – you feel like you’re doing ‘proper work’. In episode two of Moving Wallpaper, when I had to scream my head off because they are trying to make me have a shave, the director said “We’re just going to turn over the camera: shout for about 10 seconds, throw this bin and then shout a bit more - do whatever you want”. So I just did it and it ended up being really funny.

“There were a lot of cool people in Cornwall. I think Newquay town itself is probably about 20 years out of date, but it’s a cool place to be. Everyone is laid back and chilled out, and there was a good atmosphere. I did a bit of surfing, just paddling out and getting little snapshots for montage sequences, but I nearly drowned. I got caught in a rift and was being taken out. I was trying to swim in and it took me about fifteen minutes to get back to the beach. I’m definitely not a good surfer! Despite that, I love being down on the beach. I’ve never worked in that environment for such a large amount of time so it was good to get time to spend by the sea and be paid for doing it!”

He made his first screen appearance aged only 4, in 1979, in the role of infant Charlie in the BBC detective drama ‘Shoestring.’ His next brush with celebrity was three years later when as a 007-obsessed youngster his wish to meet James Bond was granted on the Jim’ll Fix It show. He must therefore have been in seventh heaven when he later co-starred alongside ex Bond Timothy Dalton in the 2006 ITV Miss Marple drama, 'The Sittaford Mystery,' and describes the experience as “a big thrill.”

Beforehand, Goode had played the brother of Inspector Lynley in the BBC production Inspector Lynley Mysteries: A Suitable Vengeance and had parts in the TV-movie Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister and the Shakespearean stage play The Tempest.

Goode has since appeared in the films Match Point and Imagine Me & You. Recent movies include Copying Beethoven, opposite Ed Harris and Diane Kruger, and The Lookout.

He is playing the character of Adrian Veidt in the upcoming Watchmen movie directed by Zack Snyder

Scott Alexander Maslen (born 1971 in London) is an English actor best known for his portrayal as DS Phil Hunter in ITV's The Bill and now Jack Branning on the BBC's flagship soap EastEnders.

He was brought up in Woolwich and joined the Royal Marines at the age of 16. Maslen sustained an injury whilst in the Marines, resulting in him having to leave. He is also a supporter of the West Ham United Football Club and can be seen interviewed on the 05/06 Season Review DVD. Maslen is a vegetarian he discussed this on a recent appearance on The Paul O'Grady Show.

After being injured while serving in the Marines, he went to Miami at 18 to see where fortune lay and was spotted by photographer Bruce Weber, and he earned a successful career as an international model, travelling the world earning "a good living" in glamorous locations.

Five years later, he turned to acting and landed a role in the successful television series Lock, Stock... in 2000. He has also played the live action rendition of Claude Speed in DMA Design's promotional video and opening sequence for Grand Theft Auto 2. After a few more television and film roles he landed his part in The Bill in 2002.

On 13 July 2007 it was announced that Maslen would be leaving The Bill and joining the cast of Eastenders as regular character Jack Branning.
